Exactly what I wanted for gauging the wind direction for target shooting at the range. I have mounted it on a stable base & have a north indicator. Wind affects the target hit of a .22 l.r. projectile. On the 50-metre range, we aim for an accuracy of 5 shots in a 10mm group. Having a wind indicator helps in deciding when to fire the shot. (We tend to wait for no wind). I would recommend this product to other competition shooters. R.
